Lemon Thyme Sorbet

A zesty lemon sorbet infused with the aromatic freshness of thyme, perfect for a light and refreshing treat.

Ingredients:

  • 🍋 3/4 cup (200 ml) fresh lemon juice
  • 🌱 5 sprigs fresh thyme
  • 🍬 3/4 cup (150 g) sugar
  • 🍶 1 1/4 cups (300 ml) water

Directions:

🍬 Prepare the syrup:

  1. Heat 🍶 water with 🍬 sugar and 🌱 thyme sprigs in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Simmer for 15 minutes, then strain to remove the thyme. Let the syrup cool.

🍋 Add the lemon juice:

  1. Combine the cooled syrup with 🍋 fresh lemon juice. Mix well.

🍧 Churn the sorbet:

  1. Pour the mixture into an ice cream maker and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions until light and fluffy.

🌟 Serve:

  1. Scoop into bowls and garnish with 🌱 a fresh thyme sprig and 🍋 lemon zest for an elegant presentation.
