About

I’m Wren Bendway, and I read nutrition labels so you don’t have to. TastyBend is a reference for the nutrition facts of everyday American foods, drinks, fast food, and packaged products.

The idea is simple. The numbers you want are scattered across labels, brand sites, and government databases, and they rarely agree on serving size. I pull them into one clear page per food, state the serving size up front, give the full macro line, and name where each number came from.

How I source the numbers

Every figure is tied to a source: the USDA FoodData Central database, the manufacturer’s published label, or the chain’s official nutrition page. When sources disagree, I tell you which one I used and why. And I always give the serving size a number is based on, because “per serving” means nothing without it.

What TastyBend is not

This is a reference site, not medical or dietary advice. Nutrition needs are personal, and a calorie count can’t tell you what is right for your body. If you are managing a condition such as diabetes, heart disease, or an allergy, please talk to a registered dietitian or your doctor. I can give you the numbers; the decision is yours.

Corrections

Labels change and databases update. If a number here is out of date or wrong, reach me through the contact page and I’ll fix it in place with a note on when it changed.
